Families Celebrate Fall at ‘Pumpkins on the Aloha Plaza’ Event

Families gathered at Douglas County Libraries in Castle Rock (100 S. Wilcox Street) on Friday morning, October 25, for festive, seasonal fun. Pumpkins on the Aloha Plaza, sponsored by Aloha Fund, brought the community together to decorate pumpkins, enjoy fall treats, and snap keepsake fall-themed photos.

The library’s Aloha Plaza West was filled with wonder and laughter, and became a colorful display of pumpkins, showcasing the creativity and enthusiasm of the community’s youngsters. The event emphasized DCL’s vision to inspire a love of reading, discovery and connection, and to provide the community with welcoming spaces to gather, indoors and out.

Pumpkin decorating started with getting a pumpkin.

Some creativity, some snacking, all good fun.

Kids could choose from provided materials to decorate their pumpkins.
